Dylan's imagination has now added a touch of magic, in not only a fun way, but a safe way too. We have all been enjoying watching not only his drawings come to life, but his imagination to.
The 3d pen gives creative freedom as there are no wires to fight with, how great is that? or to even get in the way of your creativity. This allowed Dylan to focus fully on his artwork.
This awesome 3d pen not only allowed Dylan to draw, but it allowed him to build upwards to create 3D creations too.
Unleashing Artistic Potential
The 3d pen has added so much fun to Dylan's learning process. He has been having so much fun and has loved getting creative too. Dylan absolutely loves the creative freedom this 3d pen brings as you can use it on the go too, as long as it is charged ready to go.
Safety - We don't need to worry about his delicate hands being burnt, as the heating element is sealed within the pen. The filaments used are made from kid-friendly PCL materials and are totally safe to touch. Meaning they are completely harmless. Safe and fun creativity all the way!
To operate - You simply charge the pen via USB, charging is very quick so don't panic.
The 3d pen itself is of perfect size for children's hands. You have to wait for the 3d pen to heat up before using. Heating up takes about 30 seconds. Then the fun may commence!
You feed your chosen filament colour in the hole at the top of the pen and then turn it on. There are two speed options to choose from. When the green light stops flashing, your pen is then ready to use. To feed the filament through and make your master-piece you simply press the button on the side of the pen. You change the filament colour by pressing the center button, this then retracts the current filament for you to change.
Filaments - Filaments can be purchase easily in a variety of colours. The colour choice is amazing and has allowed for a rainbow of creativity for Dylan to dive into. As previously mentioned, the filaments are made of PCL - which is, Polycaprolactone. This is a material that is biodegradable polyester and is super easy to work with. It has a melting point of around 60°C, soft at room temperature allowing for endless of possibilities for projects.
Cleaning up - Clean up after being creative is easy. There is no need to wait for the master-piece to dry. You watch their work come to life lightening-fast with solidification, with thanks to the low-heat filament. There is no waiting around whatsoever as it dries in a flash. The best part? It is non-adhesive and super easy to clean up. So you can say goodbye to sticky messes and hello to hassle-free creativity!
The proud look on his face say's it all. He had a busy day making everyone a keyring for Christmas gifts from himself and his little brother Harvey. The opportunities are endless of things you could make with the 3d pen.
Dylan has also been busy with his 3d pen making decorations for his Christmas tree. He has added hearts, stars and snowflakes so far. They looks absolutely amazing and will be keepsakes to treasure forever.
