Looking for some summer fun? have you taken your children to KidsFest yet? if not we highly recommend it as a fantastic day out in Essex.
What Is KidsFest?
KidsFest is the ultimate kids festival not to be missed. KidsFest is back, bigger and better, and it is running all summer long. From 24th July 2024 - 1st September 2024. We came along last year to KidsFest and absolutely loved it.
This year the atmosphere was amazing. There was so much to do, both Dylan and Zayden ages 3.5 and 1.5 years were entertained by something going on all day long.
Suitable For All The Family?
This is an amazing event for all the family. There are hard standing footpaths to a majority of the farm, which is wheelchair and pram friendly. But not all play areas were accessible/wheel-friendly due to the natural composition. There were baby changing facilities and also a disabled toilet.
What Fun Can Be Expected At KidsFest?
There were fun walkabout entertainment, on stage entertainment, arts and crafts, swan and tea cup rides, DIY glitter station, all day music and entertainment, the hilltop play area, critter displays, the foam party, 12 hole mini crazy golf, exotic and farm yard animals, the list is endless of expected fun to be had. There was a program packed full of fun to be had.
What Animals Are At Lee Valley Animal Adventure Park
Even at KidsFest you will still be able to see all the animals, as this is included in the ticket price. As we walked around we were able to see exotic animals, creepy crawlies, cute furry animals and of course our farm yard favourites.
Bringing Your Own Food And Drink
There is a main cafe which is open 10 am - 4 pm but we decided to bring a picnic so we can spend more time having fun in the sun. Plus I dont think we would have got the boys to far away from the entertainment area, as they were having too much fun.
There was a sheltered picnic area near to the main stage which was situated perfectly to enjoy our lunch and snacks throughout our visit.
